Team Information

We welcome team entries in the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ. It’s the perfect event for corporate companies to get staff together for a healthy day of relaxed fun, some sporting competition, a team training fun for your footy club, or a family activity. The range of events means everyone can take part.

Team members can run in groups or as individuals, it’s up to you - pehaps get the speedy members to run ahead and get the bbq started! Participants are welcome to enter different events but still be part of the same team.

*Team Registrations will close at 5pm on Wednesday 25 August 2010. All payments must be received prior to this date to ensure all individuals entries are confirmed. If team members are queued for entry they are unpaid and as such are unconfirmed.

HOW TO REGISTER A TEAM

1. Click on the link REGISTER NOW to the right or on our homepage
2. Select ‘I would like to register a new team’
3. Fill in your team details** and click CREATE

**PASSWORD: You will be asked if you wish to create a team password – a password will mean only those who you issue the password to will be able to register themselves as part of your team.

**PAYMENT OPTION: You will be asked to select a payment option
Pay Now – this means each individual pays for their own registration at the time they enter their personal; details and select their event.
Pay Later – this allows individuals to enter their own registration details but for a team captain to make payment(s) for the team. With this option an individual registering in your team will not be prompted for payment.

4. Register an individual – you need to do this to complete your team registration. The simplest thing to do is to register yourself! Lead by example!

TEAM PROFILE

The Clydesdales first ran together in the early part of the millennium when playing AFL for the UNSW-ES Bulldogs Football Club in Sydney. They dedicate themselves to staying fit by “plodding” along in races worldwide and will compete in the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ, Westpac Half Marathon in 2010.
