RUN FOR A CAUSE, YOURS OR OURS...

2010 will see the introduction of the Activ Charity Challenge. Run for a cause, yours or ours, it’s all about making a difference and getting inspired.

This new fundraising initiative is set to turn WA’s largest event into WA’s largest fundraising event, opening up official fundraising links to all WA charities, not just our partner charity Activ.

We encourage you to run for a cause close to your heart and get sponsored for your hard work. If you’re not sure who to support get behind our partner charity Activ. Activ have been supporting people with disability in the community since 1975, and have been supporting participants in the city to surf for 36 years.

We’ll be profiling fundraisers on our website throughout the year and you’ll see the top efforts featured on our homepage along with the up to date fundraising total. We know events like ours can achieve amazing things beyond personal health and fitness, so take the challenge today and get inspired!

Western Australians with disability benefit greatly through the State-wide network of Activ.

Through generous donations, Activ has been able to modernise their facilities, introduce new occupations and leisure activities, and offer a broader range of services to support the whole-of-life needs of an ageing population.

Get active for Activ by creating your own fundraising page supporting Activ once you have registered for the event.
