 THE CLYDESDALES The Clydesdales first ran together in the early part of the millennium when playing AFL for the UNSW-ES Bulldogs Football Club in Sydney. While they have now all hung up their footy boots, they dedicate themselves to staying fit by “plodding” along in races worldwide and will compete in the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ Half Marathon in 2010. With team members travelling from Singapore, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane, the team looks forward to their reunion in Perth. “We rarely get together and this event is a great excuse to catch-up, go for what looks like a beautiful run and importantly raise money for a good cause.” The Clydesdales are proud to be involved in the Activ Charity Challenge, and are raising money for The Autism Association of Western Australia. “This is a charity we are passionate about and we are excited to raise money for a charity that provides the time and support required for people with autism and their families.” If you would like to sponsor the Clydesdales or create your very own fundraising page, CLICK HERE |
